MORGANTOWN, WV (November 28, 2016) – Comcast will produce Newsmakers segments for its Morgantown customers beginning in January, 2017. These short-form news magazine segments feature local, state and national officials as well as community leaders discussing the issues that matter most in communities they serve. Segments produced in Morgantown will feature local non-profit executives and legislators discussing services and issues relevant to local customers.
Non-profit executives are invited to breakfast at Comcast’s XFINITY Store at 740 Venture Drive in Morgantown at 8:30am on Friday, December 2, 2016 to learn more about Comcast Newsmakers, meet the program’s host, Eric Minor, and to schedule segment tapings. Eric is an award-winning television anchor and multimedia journalist who has worked as an anchor, reporter, producer and freelancer for WTOV-TV, WBOY-TV and WPXI-TV in Steubenville, Ohio, Wheeling and Clarksburg, West Virginia and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Comcast Newsmakers is broadcast to Comcast customers on XFINITY On Demand, and distributed to the general public at ComcastNewsmakers.com. Organizations featured in the segments can also feature links to the segments on their web sites and social media platforms.
