All 12 Title Games Will be Available to Xfinity TV customers
PITTSBURGH, PA – March 2, 2017 – Comcast this weekend will bring the WPIAL boys and girls basketball championships to its signature Xfinity On Demand service for the 12th consecutive year.
Replays of all 12 WPIAL championship games – scheduled to be played Thursday through Saturday, March 2-4 at the Petersen Events Center – will be available free to Xfinity TV subscribers beginning the day after they are played.
To watch any game, customers with traditional set-top boxes simply go to their Xfinity On Demand menu and select the “Get Local” folder followed by the “Sports” and “WPIAL Finals” folders. Comcast X1 customers will find the games under their On Demand menus by going to Xfinity Services, Get Local, Sports and WPIAL basketball.
Comcast’s announcing team for this year’s championships includes play-by-play from Chris Shovlin, Tim Benz and Bob Hannon, while Ellis Cannon, Jim Elias, Amanda Kuhl and John Meyer will provide color commentary.

BOYS CLASS 6A: Pine-Richland (23-1) vs. Butler (17-8), 9 p.m. March 4.
BOYS CLASS 5A: Hampton (16-9) vs. Moon (19-5), 9 p.m. March 3.
BOYS CLASS 4A: New Castle (22-2) vs. Quaker Valley (22-2), 1 p.m. March 4.
BOYS CLASS 3A: Lincoln Park (21-4) vs. Cardinal Wuerl North Catholic (20-5), 9 p.m. March 2.
BOYS CLASS 2A: Our Lady of Sacred Heart (18-6) vs. Sewickley Academy (19-4), 5 p.m. March 3.
BOYS CLASS 1A: Monessen (17-7) vs. Imani Christian (15-6), 7 p.m. March 2.
GIRLS CLASS 6A: North Allegheny (23-1) vs. Bethel Park (19-6), 7 p.m. March 4.
