On Monday, a special guest stopped in the North Fayette Xfinity store near Pittsburgh.  Chris Jamison, who wowed viewers during The Voice’s seventh season on NBC, greeted fans at the store after playing a four-song set.  Chris peaked at #5 on the iTunes Albums charts with the release of is debut EP titled I Am Chris Jamison August 19th, 2016, and is currently working on new music that is set to be released this summer.

Fans were able to demo Xfinity Mobile and learn more about how to vote for their favorite contestant on this season of The Voice using their X1 Voice Remote.  Chris’ set included covers of Charlie Puth’s Attention, Unaware by Allen Stone and Stevie Wonder’s Superstitious in addition to Guilty, one of Jamison’s original songs.

Jamison shared some insight about his career’s unexpected path with fans. “I thought I would get a regular job after college but the opportunity to be on a show like The Voice made me realize that this is what I need to be doing.”

Last fall, Xfinity X1 customers picked up their remotes and cast their votes for their favorite artists on The Voice right on the TV. X1 was one of the top voting methods last season.  X1 customers can use their voice remote to vote for any eligible artist by saying, “Vote for [insert name]” and confirming their choice on the TV, enabling them to quickly and easily cast their vote for their favorite artist in just two steps. X1 customers can cast up to ten votes per artist during the broadcast, on par with the show’s other voting methods.
