On October 10, Pennsylvania Women Work presented their Honorary Woman of Courage Award to Kristen Bell, Regional Senior Director of Human Resources at Comcast. This honor is given to a woman who rose above significant life obstacles to achieve professional success by using ingenuity, perseverance and strength of character.
Kristen volunteers as the Lead for Comcast’s Women’s Network, a 200-member employee resource group dedicated to professional and personal development and mentoring, and to providing volunteer support for the company’s local communities. In 2017 and 2018, she led a Comcast Cares Day project at Pittsburgh’s Treasure House Fashions, a non-profit dedicated to supporting women in need.
