This week, Christine Whitaker, Regional Senior Vice President of Comcast’s Keystone Region, was named one of 15 Outstanding CEOs and Top Executives by the Pittsburgh Business Times. Honorees were recognized for exemplifying true leadership, both at the organizations where they work and in the community.
Since taking her current role in 2015, Christine Whitaker has increased the company’s customer base, expanded its network into Cranberry Township, led the company in Xfinity Mobile sales and opened CoLab18 at Nova Place. Prior to joining Comcast, she was group vice president and chief learning officer for Time Warner Cable.
When asked by the Business Times about her philosophy about developing the next generation of business leaders, she said, “I live by the quote, “We rise by lifting others” by Robert Ingersoll. There is no better feeling than investing in others to help them find and leverage their gifts to advance their careers and contributions to the company, their families and the world.”
