Comcast is proud to have been selected as one of the Pittsburgh Business Times’ Best Places to Work in Western Pennsylvania in the Extra-large category. Comcast is one of six companies selected from more than 200 area companies who applied to participate in an online survey of employee engagement administered by Omaha, Nebraska-based Quantum Market Research.

Online employee satisfaction surveys formed the basis of the final ranking scores used in this program. Comcast has earned three “Best Places to Work” awards from Pittsburgh media outlets in the past three years, including two from the Post-Gazette.

These successes are reflected in employees’ participation in one of Comcast’s seven employee resource groups (ERGs): VetNet, the Women’s Network, the Black Employee Network, Unidos, the Young Professionals Network, OUT and the MyAbilities Network. Nearly 1,000 Western Pennsylvania employees belong to at least one of these ERGs, participating in professional development programs as well as community service projects such as the 20 Pittsburgh-area Comcast Cares Day projects that took place in May.

Employees also help shape Comcast’s corporate culture by serving on the company’s Sustainability Council, Diversity & Inclusion Council and Culture Council, all comprised of members ranging from frontline employees to managers to senior leadership.
