Recently, Comcast’s Keystone Region Diversity and Inclusion Council partnered with Junior Achievement of Western Pennsylvania and the Keystone Oaks School District to teach lessons about entrepreneurship, work readiness and financial literacy to Dormont Elementary School students. They also answered questions about what it’s like to work at Comcast and the job opportunities available for them after high school graduation.
Thirty-two Comcast volunteers took over the elementary school teaching and spending time with almost 400 students in kindergarten through fifth grade. Comcast’s Keystone Region Diversity & Inclusion Council works to ensure employees feel they belong and are valued, and that our differences are appreciated and a source of strength and pride for our region and the communities we serve. We believe a diverse and inclusive company effectively drives growth and innovation.
