Xfinity and Comcast Business Internet Now Available to More Washington County Residents

Previously Unserved Rural Homes and Businesses Can Connect to America’s Largest, Fastest Converged WiFi Network for the First Time Through Multiple Expansion Projects

Through a partnership with Washington County, Comcast announced it connected hundreds of previously unserved homes and businesses across rural Washington County, PA to reliable, high-speed symmetrical Internet. These are the first of more than 2,000 previously unserved homes and businesses across the county that will be connected to Internet, mobile, entertainment, and security services from Xfinity and Comcast Business for the first time.

Whether it’s accessing telehealth, participating in online education, growing local businesses, or staying connected with loved ones, reliable high-speed Internet makes a meaningful difference in people’s lives.”

These expansion projects, funded in part by American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) Funds allocated to expand access to high-speed Internet, are underway in the northwest and southeast portions of Washington County. Residents can visit Xfinity.com/mytown to enter their address for additional details on construction timing and service availability.

• Northwest Washington County, PA: Xfinity and Comcast Business services are available to hundreds of homes and businesses in Hanover Township and Burgettstown Borough. Hundreds more will be connected through the rest of 2025.
• Southeast Washington County, PA: This fall, unserved homes and businesses in Bentworth, North and West Bethlehem Townships, West Pike Run, Beallsville, and Deemston Borough will start being connected to Xfinity and Comcast Business services, with full project completion expected by spring 2026.
