Xfinity, and its retail store located at 740 Venture Drive, Morgantown, WV 26508, has been voted by local customers as one of the best Internet Providers in West Virginia. This exciting news is part of Best in Mountaineer Country 2024 which recognizes customers’ favorites across seven local counties – Barbour, Doddridge, Harrison, Marion, Monongalia, Preston, and Taylor – in North and Central West Virginia.

Comcast currently serves more than 40 local municipalities across Brooke, Marion, Mineral, Monongalia, Ohio, Preston, and Taylor Counties in West Virginia and was recently selected as Monongalia County’s Internet service provider to connect more local communities to the Xfinity network.
The company has also installed nine free, WiFi-connected Lift Zones in West Virginia. Lift Zones, which provide Internet access on-the-go, complement Comcast’s Internet Essentials program that provides in-home broadband connectivity. Lift Zones help students, veterans, and anyone who, for a variety of reasons (including homelessness, or housing insecurity issues), need somewhere to go during the day to connect to the Internet and to learn digital skills. Lift Zones are part of Project UP, Comcast’s comprehensive $1 billion commitment to help build a future of unlimited possibilities and the continuation of the company’s long history of giving back to communities where it provides service and where its employees live and work.
